GEODIS advances XXL lifting solutions for wind power
Our transport and logistics company is partnering with Dolfines to develop and market a high-capacity port lifting solution designed especially for floating offshore wind power projects.

Producing an all-new lifting solution
GEODIS and Dolfines—an engineering company specializing in solutions for the energy industry—are working together to develop an innovative port solution that can install offshore wind turbine components weighing between 800 and 1,000 tonnes.
Under this agreement, GEODIS’s logistics subsidiary Sealogis will support Dolfines in scaling up production of a Mobile XXL version of the OHME Offshore Heavy Maintenance Enabler lifting system. Specially adapted for next-generation offshore wind projects producing 15 to 20 MW, this model will offer a flexible, high-performance alternative to traditional ring cranes1.

Exclusive rights in several strategic markets
The 10-year agreement grants GEODIS exclusive rights to market the OHME Mobile XXL system across a selection of strategic markets in Europe. Dolfines will retain IP rights and patents for the technology, and GEODIS will participate in the commercial development of future contracts.
This partnership reflects GEODIS’s commitment to accelerating innovation in low-environmental-impact logistics solutions, particularly in renewable energy.
